In 2023 Clatskanie Bloom partnered with Clatskanie Senior Center, Inc. by sponsoring a commissioned painting by local artist Randy Larson of the Thomas J Flippin House National Historic Preservation Site locally known as “The Castle”.

The Thomas J Flippin House was recently completely restored by the Clatskanie Senior Center, Inc. . The project was primarily funded through donations from private foundations and local families. This is the commissioned painting done by local artist Randy Larson
