Session Three Artists
Jo Thackery - Porcelain
Jo has been working with porcelain paints and materials for approximately 20 years.
Jo was the director of the Oregon World Organization of China Painters Art Retreat for seven years in Seaside, Oregon. She retired from that in 2015 , but then after some life changing events, decided to start her own school in 2018, and from there a new school is back in the Northwest - Skydancer's Porcelain Art Retreat. Jo has had several pieces take awards and go onto display in the World Organization of China Painters in the Oklahoma City, OK W.O.C.P. Museum.
Jo truly enjoys teaching as well as experimenting and creating, working with different types of materials within the porcelain art world. Some of the materials include overglaze paint, lusters, enamels, structure paste, golds and metallics. It is her goal to teach others how much fun and exciting and relaxing this art form is.
Michael Brundage - Wildlife Illustration
